These shelters have been carefully designed to integrate harmoniously into rural or urban environments. Available in various colours and post designs.
Round posts made of aluminium tube: Ø 76, on base plates. Cast aluminium collars and base covers.
The frame comprises of 3 curved aluminium profile arcs, two aluminium crossbeams 40 x 60 and two aluminium profile rainwater gutters. The canopy made of 10mm translucent anti-UV cellular polycarbonate glazing. The canopy is inserted in the two gutters and between the arcs.
Shatter-resistant toughened 8mm safety glass, with EC safety standard etching on the glass. Fixed by cast aluminium clamping device making for easy replacement of the safety glass panels in the event of vandalism.
All of Captrads Bus Shelters are supplied with a timetable notice board. Silver anodised 30mm profile aluminium with zinc electro plated steel backboard. The doors have a tamper proof lock, wear-resistant and warp-proof integrated hinges which create a double watertight seal with the frame. Shock and UV resistant plexichoc glazing.
