Captrad’s GRP Handrail Triangular Base Foot is ideal for commercial and industrial GRP Handrail construction projects. Used as a wall fixing plate either to terminate a run of handrail to a wall or to provide (together with a 3 way Tee connection) a run of handrail along a wall. It can also be used as the base foot for stairs – it allows the foot to be fitted closer to the edge of the stair tread than is possible with the standard base foot.
Captrad Composites GRP Handrail Triangular Base Foot is just a part of our entire GRP Handrail range! GRP Handrail consists of a 50mm GRP Handrail Tube, in 5m or 6m lengths, that fit exactly into the comprehensive range of matching GRP moulded fittings. The fittings connect to the tube with bolts passing through both parts of the fitting and the tube. The bolt head and the nut recess into the fitting so there are no exposed edges to catch the hand of the user.
GRP Handrail is lightweight, versatile and extremely durable, whilst also being non-conductive, making them ideal for locations where electrical conductivity needs to be minimized, such as power plants, substations, or areas with electrical equipment.
All of our GRP Handrail has been developed to meet certain building regulation requirements as well as offering a unique and extremely strong plastic handrail system that can be quickly installed due to the weight and ease of use on-site.
